Two dedicated LoTo solutions are selectable for manually operated GEA VESTA® valves. Easy-to apply BELLOW LOCKS block any valve action and keep the valve in either open or closed position.

The GEA Direct Sprayer DS 25 is mounted flush against the tank wall, ensuring that no components protrude into the agitator's range of motion. The specially designed, slightly recessed nozzle generates a stable, fully cone-shaped spray jet that provides maximum mechanical cleaning power. The pneumatically controlled spray is precisely directed towards the underside of the agitator, even in tanks with complex geometry.

The increased use of ozonation in the treatment of WFI systems has highlighted compatibility issues with vent filters based on standardized polypropylene components. The introduction of a fully validated TETPOR PLUS filter cartridge with sterilization-grade 0.2 μm membrane provides long-term and safe performance in these applications. It also has the added benefit that filter integrity can be verified by water ingress testing. PROCLEAR PP+ filters are designed to provide excellent retention and dirt holding capacity in pharmaceutical pre-filtration applications. Polypropylene-based filter media with optimized depth structure provide excellent retention and dirt holding properties, while ensuring broad chemical compatibility. Meltblown polypropylene depth filter media offer low levels of extractables compared to glass fiber or cellulose materials, while maintaining similar retention properties. PROPOR BR filters are specifically designed for fast and cost-effective bioburden reduction of pharmaceutical solutions. The integrated melt-blown prefiltration layer provides high dirt-holding capacity, while the polyethersulfone membrane ensures a bioburden reduction of >5 log and thus excellent microbial protection. PROPOR MR filters are specifically designed for the rapid, efficient and cost-effective removal of mycoplasma from cell culture media in the biopharmaceutical industry. The highly retentive PES membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.1 μm is validated against the industry standard Brevundimonas diminuta as well as Acholeplasma laidlawii, a common mycoplasma species in contaminated cell cultures. An asymmetrically integrated membrane prefilter gives PROPOR MR the optimal membrane configuration for maximum capacity and high flow rates. PROCLEAR GF filters are designed for reliable and cost-effective removal of particles and microorganisms from pharmaceutical liquids.
